This auction is for:<br>1925 American Toll Bridge Company Stock Certificate Signed by Aven Hanford & Oscar Klatt<br>Historic San Francisco and Bay Area bridge building company built the original Carquinez Bridge spanning the Carquinez Strait at the northeastern end of San Francisco Bay and the Antioch Bridge crossing the San Joaquin River in Contra Costa County. Company was founded by Aven Hanford and Oscar Klatt, who both sign this rare certificate. Aven Hanford also founded the original Golden Gate Ferry line, which ran from San Francisco to Sausalito. Blue, 50 share certificate issued to Mrs. George Cassidy on May 14, 1925.
